Rising Up at Legally Green

Thank you to all those who joined us this past Thursday evening at our annual Legally Green Gala. It was so inspiring to gather in one room with our staff, board, coalition partners, and new and longtime supporters to celebrate all that we’ve accomplished in the last year together.

We hope our program Thursday evening, and communications leading up to the event, showed what all of your support helps makes a reality. Whether it be hiring a team of experts to testify at the Capitol against environmental rollbacks, or working with community members to protect their right to clean air and water through local control – you are helping make the world a better place through your investment in our work.

MCEA has the solutions to the problems we face and we are grateful to all those who have entrusted us with the funds we need to get this work done. As we transition into the next year, our staff is ready to tackle the most complex problems facing Minnesota’s environment. MCEA was built for these times and we’re glad you have joined us in this fight.

Thank you.

Give to the Max Day giving begins tomorrow

Give to the Max Day was created in 2009 to launch GiveMN, a collaborative venture led by Minnesota Community Foundation and many other organizations committed to helping make our state a better place.

That initial spark touched off an outpouring of generosity — $14 million in 24 hours. Since then, Give to the Max Day has become an annual tradition. Every year dozens of people become new members of MCEA through this initiative. We hope you'll join us if you're not yet a part of our work!

MCEA will be participating in this year's GTMD effort starting November 1 through November 15. Click here to visit our page and donate!
